El Mirage, an Arizona-bred son of California stallion Cee’s Tizzy, won Saturday’s $50,000 Lost in the Fog Stakes for 2-year-olds at Turf Paradise. El Mirage ran the 6 furlongs in 1:15.24 and won by 5 lengths as the 8-5 favorite. El Mirage is the 25th SW sired by Cee's Tizzy.

El Mirage a juvenile homebred of Dennis E. Weir breaks his maiden by 15 lengths on November 16th going 6 furlongs in 109.34. The grey or roan colt is out of the Benton Creek mare Knoll Lake. This six furlong race was a futurity trail race for the Arizona Breeders' Futurity to be run December 1.

Miss Tizzy Takes Dream Supreme

Miss Tizzy, a Florida-bred daughter of Cee’s Tizzy, won the $76,500 Dream Supreme Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Belmont Park on September 16th.

Cee’s Tizzy, who sired both Gourmet Girl and Tiznow, is the first stallion since Alydar in 1988 (Horse of the Year Alysheba and best two-year-old Easy Goer), to produce two champions in a single year.

Darley Stud Management Inc.'s TIZDUBAI (Cee's Tizzy), in her debut, overcame trouble and pulled away to an easy 1 1/2-length win on July 6 at Hollywood Park. The two-year-old filly stopped the clock in the 5 1/2-furlong maiden race in 1:05 1/5.

Tizdubai is a full sister to multiple Grade 2 winner Budroyale and 2000 Horse of the Year Tiznow.

Tizdubai was bred in California by Cee's Stable LLC, and was purchased at the 2001 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale for a price of $950,000.
