River Echo (Swiss Yodeler) Takes Zia Park $100K Premier H.

HOBBS, N.M. (Sept. 12, 2010) – River Echo, the longest shot in the field, kicked clear in the stretch to win Sunday’s $100,000 Premier Cup Handicap at Zia Park.

River Echo is by Swiss Yodeler, out of the Island Whirl mare Isleo Babe, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by J. Kirk and Judy Robinson and trained by Henry Dominguez.

He has four wins in 26 starts, earnings of $254,464 and was coming off a seventh in an Aug. 29 $25,000 claimer. This was his first stakes win.

River Echo ran the six furlongs in 1:09.29 and won by 1 lengths at odds of 19-1.
