Cost of Freedom in Breeders’ Cup Sprint

ARCADIA, Calif. (Nov. 3, 2009) -- California-bred Cost of Freedom is entered in Saturday’s $2 million Grade I Breeders’ Cup Sprint at Oak Tree at Santa Anita.

Cost of Freedom is by  Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Moscow Ballet mare Freedom Dance, was bred by and foaled at Harris Farms, is owned by Barber and Barber and is trained by John Sadler. He has six wins in 12 starts including the 2008 Grade I Ancient Title, earnings of $369,105 and is coming off a fourth in the Oct. 11 Ancient Title. Tyler Baze rides Cost of Freedom, who breaks for the two-post and is listed at 10-1 on the morning line.
