Harris Farms Connected Horses Lead Entries in Crystal Water

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 25, 2010) -- Compari & Red Sun (both sons of Redattore), and Live Sundays & Enriched (both sons of High Brite) lead entries in Sunday's $100,000 Crystal Water Handicap for California-breds at one mile on the Santa Anita turf course.

Live Sundays is by High Brite, out of the Rich Cream mare Thisisyourluckyday, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Hajji Farm and is trained by Charles Jenda. The Northern California Yearling Sale $5,000 purchase has five wins in 10 starts, earnings of $162,976 and is coming off a third in the Jan. 1 Sensational Star.

Red Sun is by Redattore, out of the Affirmed mare Sunny Sara, was bred by owner Harris Farms and is trained by Carla Gaines. He has a three-race win streak in four starts and earnings of $90,680.

Compari is by Redattore, out of the Dixieland Band mare Southern Charm, was bred by owners Harris Farms, Don Valpredo and John Nicoletti, was foaled at Harris Farms and is trained by Martin Jones. He has a four- race win streak in five starts, earnings of $272,640 and is coming off a win in the Jan. 1 Sensational Star.

Enriched is by High Brite, out of the Nostalgia’s Star mare Li’l Ms. Leonard, was bred by Carol Lingenfelter, is owned by Westside Rentals.com, Neil Haymes and Doug O’Neill and is trained by O’Neill. He has four wins in 14 starts, earnings of $209,910 and is coming off a sixth in the Jan. 30 Sunshine Millions Classic.
