Bob Black Jack is Stormy Jack’s First Stakes Winner

ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 26, 2007) – Bob Black Jack provided freshman sire Stormy Jack with his first stakes winner by easily taking Wednesday’s $138,375 California Breeders Championship Stakes for 2-year-old colts and geldings at Santa Anita.

Bob Black Jack is out of the Native Prospector mare Molly’s Prospector, was bred by Gary and Marlene Howard and Bruce Dunsmore, and is owned by Jeff Harmon and James Kasparoff.

He now has two wins in four starts, with earnings of $131,425.

He ran the seven furlongs in 1:30.37 and won by 6 lengths at odds of 2-1.
