Ten Churros took the overland route, bidding four wide around the turn and drawing off to win Wednesday’s $108,200 Generous Portion Stakes for 2-year-old California-bred fillies at Del Mar.

Ten Churros is by High Brite, out of the Miswaki mare Grana, was bred by and foaled at Harris Farms, is owned by Hal Earnhardt and trained by Bob Baffert.

The $10,000 Barretts purchase has two wins in four starts, earnings of $85,567 and was coming off a fourth in the July 18 CTBA Stakes.

Ten Churros ran the six furlongs in 1:11.61 and won by 2 lengths.
