Welcome to the 2002 Del Mar Fantasy Stable entry page. The rules are simple...a. Select three horses from the following list of currently owned or co-owned Harris Farms racehorses. This becomes your "stable" for the 2002 meet. The "stable" with the most accumulated earnings at the end of the meet becomes the 2002 Del Mar Fantasy Stable winner. b. Only one "stable" per e-mail address, with no changes allowed and the first "stable" submitted is the final "stable". c. ALL horses, claimed or not, regardless of what track they run at, will this year be eligible for entrants. d. If one or more of your "stable" horses are campaigned (raced) at racetracks other than Del Mar, while still owned or co-owned by Harris Farms, during the time period of July 24, 2002 through September 11, 2002, these earnings also count towards your "stable" winnings. e. Earned purse money is, as noted in the Daily Racing Form charts for the respective race. f. In case of a tie, the first "stable" entry e-mail received by Harris Farms, Inc. will be declared the winner. g. All decisions and results as posted official, or by Harris Farms, Inc. are final. to the 2002 Del Mar Fantasy Stable entry page. The rules are simple...a. Arms Control (filly, 3 by In Excess-Work the Crowd) She has taken longer than we would have liked to get to the races, but is close now and may be a runner. Out of Work the Crowd who won over $600,000.
Blind Ambition (filly, 4 by Political Ambition-Reclass) She won first time out in a fast time as Chris McCarron's next to last win. No telling how good.
Bold N Old (gelding, 4 by Moscow Ballet-Hitwick) He showed promise as a 3 year old, then went to the sidelines, a question mark at this point, but he has ability.
Don't Despair (filly, 3 by High Brite-Zanie Lanie) Unraced filly has been working ok. She is co-owned by Harris Farms, Johnson, Bellestri and Realmonte, and is trained by Noble Threewitt, a ninety something fine horseman.
Early Cotton (colt, 2 by Smoke Glacken-Teresa Mc) One of our brighter stars, by a good 2 year old sire, out of Teresa Mc who was a really nice stakes mare for us about 10 years ago. Should be ready soon.
Easy Song (gelding, 8 by Easy Goer-Queen of Song) He has been away for 1 ½ years recovering from an injury, but he is coming back well. His theme song may be "I haven't got time for the pain". A question mark as to what level he will be competitive at and if he can stay sound. Co-owned by Trifecta Scott Gross, he is the only horse we have in training that we did not breed, as he was bred in Kentucky by Juddmonte Farms.
Hard to Leave (filly, 3 by Cee's Tizzy-Count the Votes) Ran third first time out, and should like Del Mar.
Highly Suspect (gelding, 3 by High Brite-Foxy Envoy) Has run 3rd and 4th in stakes in his last 2, looking for an easier spot.
Hot Market (gelding, 4 by Cee's Tizzy-Time to Plant) Has turned into a major horse for us. A speed horse going long, he is about out of conditions and will need to run in some tough spots, but he sure has ability.
Mary Moscow (filly, 5 by Moscow Ballet-My Mary) She was given a rest and should be ready for Del Mar. Likes the turf best.
Mr. Value (gelding, 3 by Moscow Ballet-Shayne McGuire) We have always liked him, but he has been slower coming around than we would have liked. A full sibling to Teresa Mc and Mr. Thrifty.
Nora Ellen (filly, 3 by Cee's Tizzy-Margaret Booth) Working well for Del Mar, a gray filly with potential.
Political Storm (gelding, 4 by Political Ambition-Highwater Jane) Has taken a while to get to the races, but should be ready to run soon. Working ok.
Raise Expectations (colt, 3 by Mutakddim-Raise an Heiress) A well bred, good looking colt, should be ready about the middle of Del Mar.
Rebuild Trust (mare, 6 by Cee's Tizzy-Juan's Sister) Freshened up after last year's Del Mar, she is just about ready to run now.
Road Test (gelding, 3 by High Brite-Teach You) He won second time out at Hollywood Park and may be a useful horse for Harris and Valpredo.
Ron Cherry (gelding, 4 by Moscow Ballet-Rare Starlet) He has won almost $100,000, but only one race. May be getting better. Likes the turf.
Steep Climb (filly, 3 by High Brite-Avarix) She won second time out at Hollywood Park, then ran 4th against winners. Should enjoy a route.
Super High (filly, 3 by High Brite-Image of Super) Has turned into our super star, winning her last 2 races, both stakes. Will meet tougher at Del Mar, but she likes to win.
Top of Our Game (mare, 5 by Steinlen-In True Form) Our big horse last year at Del Mar, she was given a rest since Winter, but is working fast now for her return.
Unlimited Value (gelding, 6 by Present Value-Donna Duck) A really nice horse for us that didn't race until 4, and then had a serious injury after winning a stake at Santa Anita last year. Is working well, and it is mainly a matter of if he can stay sound for awhile.
